All 2025 Lincoln models contain advanced technology to enhance your driving experience. This technology ranges from driver assistance features that keep you and your passengers safe on the road to entertainment and navigation systems. As your Lincoln dealership in Bethesda, MD, we want to tell you more about some of these standard and available tech features.
BlueCruise
BlueCruise is an advanced driving system available on selected Lincoln models. It allows hands-free driving on a vast, ever-increasing road network throughout the US and Canada. Approximately 97% of controlled access highways have been mapped, and their details entered into the BlueCruise database. These roads are known as Hands-Free Blue Zones.
When you’re driving in one of these zones, you can activate the system and take your hands off the wheel. BlueCruise will accelerate, decelerate, and steer your Lincoln, all without driver input. It uses two cameras. One camera scans the road ahead, allowing your Lincoln to drive itself. The other camera monitors the driver to ensure you’re watching the road and can intervene if necessary to prevent an accident.
Lincoln Digital Experience/SYNC 4
These technologies allow you to pair your smartphone with your Lincoln. They’re Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible, and you use Bluetooth to quickly and easily pair your phone with your vehicle. Once the two are paired, you can access everything on your phone on your infotainment screen. You can access any of your apps or download others.
These systems also allow you to operate hands-free, using verbal commands to access your emails, make or receive calls, send text messages, and use any other services on your smartphone. This system has an in-built navigation system with real-time updates to give you the latest information on the route to your destination.
Driver Assistance Systems
Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is an exclusive range of safety systems installed on every Lincoln. These systems use radar, cameras, and sonar to monitor the area around your vehicle for potential threats. The various systems provide visual and audio warnings if a collision is likely, giving you enough time to react and prevent the accident.
Some Co-Pilot360 systems will actively intervene to turn your vehicle away or automatically brake to prevent a collision. The standard features are Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, Rear View Camera, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane-Keeping System. Depending on your model, you can also add additional safety systems to your Lincoln.
These are just some of the many types of advanced technology you’ll enjoy when you’re behind the wheel of a Lincoln. If you’d like to know more about technology or to test drive a Lincoln and learn for yourself, contact us today at Koons Lincoln of Bethesda in Silver Spring, MD.
